The Leading-edge Performance in Architectural & Creative Sheet Materials Alusuisse Composites, Inc. introduced the first aluminum composite material (ACM) to the North American market in 1977, as Alucobond® Material, and it continues to be the performance standard in many architectural applications. We introduced Sintra® Material to the Western Hemisphere market in 1980, and it quickly became popular for a wide range of display-related uses. This lightweight but rigid, moderately expanded plastic board remains the standard in its product type. Recent new product introductions such as Kapa® and Sintra®top continue to keep us at the leading edge of performance in both architectural and creative sheet materials. Through a network of highly qualified and deeply experienced distributor/fabricators, we now market our line of products throughout North and South America: Architectural Alucobond Material and Alucobond 21 Material
Most of our products are manufactured in the United States at plants in Benton, Kentucky, and Richmond, Indianawhere our in-line production processes maintain state-of-the-art quality control. As part of the Alcan group, Alusuisse Composites, Inc., also can draw on the production capacity of its sister companies worldwide to meet marketplace needs.
